CC1352R: CC1352R LNA and Noise Figure

Part Number: CC1352R

Hi

I am trying to receive packets using CC1352R launchpad at 915 MHz ISM band under strong and variable interference.

Is there any way to read the receiver LNA gain setting from the radio processor?

Is there any application note to find information on the CC1352R front-end noise figure, LNA gain steps, front-end noise figure with reduced LNA gain and the LNA gain tuning algorithm?

Thank you

  • It's not clear why you would need the information you ask for. If you had the information, what would you use it for?

  • I am working on backscatter communication, where a low power tag creates FSK packets by reflecting a CW signal.

I would like to understand how the receiver sensitivity is affected at different blocker levels. The sensitivity and blocker performance in the datasheet only describes the blocker level at which the sensitivity drops by 3dB at a given BER. I need to know how the sensitivity drops as the blocker level increases beyond that.

    Thank you

  • I don't see how you are going to calculate what you need from the numbers you ask for. We typically don't give out data this detailed. I would suggest you do some testing to see how the sensitivity is affected by blockers at the levels you are interested in.
