Smart RF Studio 7 Loading Firmware

All,

I can't seem to figure out how to load different firmware hex files on to my CC1101 from Smart RF studio 7.  Also, will this erase the factory settings on my CC1101? If so, how do I copy the default settings and make sure I have this in case I mess something up?

    The firmware for the SmartRF04EB can be found here:

    C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\Extras\Srf04Eb (both the boot loader and smartrf eb application image). The firmware will be installed on the PC when you install either SmartRF Studio or SmartRF Flash Programmer. You can use the Smart RF programmer to download this firmware on to the board.

    When you want to revert back to the default config., just start smartrf studio while the dev kit is connected to the PC and it automatically detects that you are not running the default  firmware and asks you if you want to download the default firmware to the kit.

    Or if you want to download it your self, the hex file is srf04eb_fwid0400.hex. and is in the same folder as the previous one.

    I wasn't able to find this directory.  My directory contains the folders

    C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\SmartRF Studio 7

    C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\SmartRF Tools

    In these folders I can't seem to find the hex file you have specified.  The hex files I can find are  fw0400.hex  and  srf04eb_bootloader.hex  are either one of these the same?

    I believe you will find these files if you install the SmartRF Flash Programmer.

    hec,

    I have installed the SmartRF Flash Programmer, but I still can't find the files specified by the air team "srf04eb_fwid0400.hex."  The only files I could find that were close were the ones mentioned above.  Are those acceptable?
