CC1352P: Duty cycle adjustable in CC1352P1?

Part Number: CC1352P

Hi Experts,

As to the FCC 15.247 test, it would better have duty cycle > 98% to perform the testing

Referring to below setting, we see the "infinite" icon to select, can we do this to make our goal?

Or there is a upper limit as 40% referred to SWRA529a.pdf

Thanks,

Wilson Chen

  • If you want to send packets it's difficult since SmartRF Studio needs some time between each packet to set up the radio etc. You can do this in software by sending packets back to back.

Which part of 15.247 are you thinking about?

  • Hi Expert,

So may you please let us know how to do this in software (any reference link or SDK?), and if that can be built into special firmware (as-is not the user case normally)?

Reference certificate lab told that there is certain KDB document shall address this cycle information that  does not have

    Thanks,

    Wilson Chen

  • I believe we have always used SmartRF Studio when we do certification.

Could you point to the exact line in FCC 15.247 test requirement that require 100 % duty cycle? Also, you are using a stack and the stack do not have 100 % duty cycle. Normally the tests should be done with worst case based on the software that is used.
