Just got the EOL from Digikey for the Lauchpad. What does this mean for the expected remaining life of the CC1310. I'm just starting a new Open Source product based on the CC1310 and now I am very worried the part and dev kit won't be around much longer. I'm looking for a new part right now....

You can use CC1312R instead of CC1310.

Hi Tim,

The CC1310 LaunchPad will be released in a new format very soon (same form factor as CC1312R LaunchPad), which is probably why it is marked as EOL on DigiKey.

Thanks Simon, that is the answer I was looking for. That tells me I don't NEED to look for another chip! It's the right answer!

When is the releases date for the new Launchpad?

We don't have a date since we will empty the current stocks first. The new and old version will be identical in every aspect except the board will be a little longer.
