Compiler/CC1350: Long Mode range 1 legacy mode - CC1350

Part Number: CC1350

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

Hi !

Im using Mode 1 legacy LRM , and I would like to verify about this option that's showed in the photo down: ( I marked it by red arrow)

So in that option I can't change the deviation, the symbol rate, Rx Filter BW?

Because Im trying to send my packets with legacy mode 1 LRM with deviation 100Khz, symbol rate 50 .. and what's this option shows me when I configure it that the deviation is 5Khz and symbol rate is 10Khz

So can I choose this option and change the default values of deviation and symbol rate that's shown when I choose this option?

thanks alot

  • Hi Ryan,

    These settings are calibrated to be compatible with the legacy LRM, that's why you can't change them.

    We will get back to you on whether it's safe to change them.

  • You can change the symbol rate within the limits described in

    I changed the symbol rate in Studio to 50 kBaud, increased the RX BW and set the deviation to 25 kHz and it worked.

    Why are you wanting to increase the data rate and deviation? The whole purpose of this mode is long range. Increasing the symbol rate will reduce the range.

    I am not able to get a link if I set the deviation to 100 kHz.
