can you share what is the most recommended approach to adapt the Launchpads for CC1352P, CC1312R to coin cell operation? Any examples?

We have an appnote called "Optimizing the CC1352P and CC2652P for Coin Cell Operation at 10 dBm Output Power" which should cover what you ask for.

Hi Vegard,

thanks, yes we saw it - based on the schamatic we have to connect the supply between 5V and GND pin? And also switch a jumper on the right side of the board above BTN2. Is there anything needed beyond that?

If you want to use the debugger, you need to move the jumper above BTN-2 to connect the bottom position. On the header between the target and the XDS, only the RXD/TXD, RST and JTAG signals jumper can be mounted, so make sure 3v3 and 5v is disconnected. Connect the coin cell between 3V3 on the Target side, and GND, by for example using the connector in the lower right corner.

Thank you, that helps. We do not need to use the debugger. So we probably don't have to switch the jumper for XDS power? Should we disconnect some of/all of the jumpers?

If you don't use the debugger, you can disconnect all jumpers on the board.
