CC1310: how to protect IP

Team,

Customer is using our CC1310 and CC1312 in their system.

They would like to know how they can best protect their IP. Is there a way to encrypt their binary files so that they can only be flashed to the target SOCs, and not read or interpreted in any way?

Try to refer to Chapter 9 to in CC13x0, CC26x0 SimpleLink™ Wireless MCU Technical Reference Manual (Rev. I) to lock debugger interface.

Customer has already referenced Chapter 9 to set the devices so that they could not be read after flashing, which was successful, but this doesn't offer any security around the binaries before flashing them to the devices.

Any ideas how that can be implemented?

I don't see CC1310 offer such capability.

Hi Viktorija,

As Yikai says, they can lock the device so that the Flash can not be read.

I don't understand the context of the second question. In most cases program the CC1310 on a production line, meaning the outside world does not have access to the binary before CC1310 is sent out into the world.
