CC1310: SimpleLink bidirectional protocol

Dear TI support,

utilising the latest SimpleLink 4.10 version - is there a protocol implementation that aside the broadcast architecture supporting some response from data collector / host ?

Thought process is architecting a wireless sensor based on 1310 that broadcasts low frequent its sensor readings but requires some response for configuration flags for sensor. Per current understanding the standard SimpleLink Broadcast does not support this.

Hi Dirk,

I would recommend the TI 15.4-Stack. This is a start network stack based on IEEE 802.15.4 standard. You can read more here;

Dear Marie ,

we have a separate thread on this open since a couple of month .. having distance issues with the 15.4 and that's why we want to switch to broadcast as this turned on the SDK much more stable. so we were curious wether there is a very simple solution for a return of simplistic config bytes.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean by SimpleLink Broadcast. Can you point me to the SDK example you are using?
