CC1312R: Crystal suitability: ABM11W-48.0000MHZ-8-B1U-T3

Part Number: CC1312R

Champs,

Customer would like to use the above crystal in new cc1312 based design. It seems to be within the specs provided in datasheet but they would like the second pair of eyes and perhaps some evidence from designs we are aware of that used this part successfully.

Any insights will be greatly appreciated

    Hi,

    Cannot see the motional inductance in the datasheet and the aging spec was +/- 2 ppm per year. The majority of crystal vendors specify for 10 years and typically  this is specified as -4 / +2 ppm_max for 10 years. 

    Have you looked at TXC 8Y48072015 or TAI-SAW TZ3780AAAO44 ?

    Update: 

    ABM11W-48.0000MHZ-8-B1U-T3 seems OK but would like to know Lm (motional inductance) to be sure that it's not far away from what we expect.

    Recommend to use 7 pF and not the 8 pF version so this will be similar to existing crystal.
