LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1: SimpleLink Audio Plugin 3.30.00.06 import fail

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1

Hi,

This is Baeyoung Park.

I am working on Audio Plugin using LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1.

SDK version is simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_4_40_00_44 and Auido Plugin version is 3.30.00.06

When I tried to import audio plugin I got the error like the attached image.

So I installed simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_3_30_00_03.

But I got the same error.

How to solve this problem?

I think after I uninstall simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_4_40_00_44, I want to install simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_3_30_00_03 and SimpleLink Audio Plugin 3.30.00.06 again.

But I don't know how to uninstall simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_4_40_00_44.

Please help me.

Best regards,

Baeyoung

  • The install process (and more) is described in the Quick Start Guide: https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/content/simplelink_audio_plugin_3_30_00_06/docs/Quick_Start_Guide.html

    Have you followed this?

  • Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

    I followed the quick start guide.

    Can you provide a way to import audio plugin on latest SDK?

    On the latest SDK, I got the error like the image.

    I know Release note recommend SDK version is 3.3.0.3.

    Actually before I found audio plugin I installed the latest SDK (simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_4_40_00_44).

    And I don't know how to uninstall the latest SDK version.

    So, I install simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_3_30_00_03 with the latest SDK version already installed.

    And then I try to import audio plugin, like the error image, CCS detect the latest SDK rather than simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_3_30_00_03.

    How can I solve this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

    Baeyoung

  • I found the reason for the error. A change has been done to the folder structure in the SDK. If you open the .projectspec for the example you are trying to import and change line 12 to

    <import spec="${COM_TI_SIMPLELINK_CC13X2_26X2_SDK_INSTALL_DIR}/kernel/tirtos/builds/cc13x2_cc26x2/release/ccs/tirtos_builds_cc13x2_cc26x2_release_ccs.projectspec"/>

    I can import.

    To have multiple SDKs installed should not cause an issue.

  • Hi,

    Thanks for prompt reply.

    I successfully imported audio plugin. But there are some errors.

    I think there are mismatch for tool versions.

    I will update tomorrow.

    Thanks a lot.

  • Hi,

    Two projects were imported.

       1. audiohal_echo_CC1352R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs

       2. tirtos_builds_CC1352R1_LAUNCHXL_release_ccs

    For the first project, build failed.

    The errors are

    Also, tirtos project build failed.

    This is the errors for tirtos build.

    This is the list for products.

    and the following is the resource variables:

    what is the SDK version and CCS version for audio plugin?

    Please how can I solve the build errors?

    Best regards,

    Baeyoung

  • Hi,

    Of course, I read release notes. And I know that there is dependencies.

    My question is that Can I use audio plugin with the latest SDK and CCS?

    If it's impossible, I will install the required version.

    Thanks in advance.

  • I need to look into it in some detail. I have to finish some other tasks before I look into it so it could take a few days.

  • Hi,

    Thanks for update.

    I'm waiting for your answer.

    Best regards,

    Baeyoung

  • Two projects were imported.

       1. audiohal_echo_CC1352R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs

       2. tirtos_builds_CC1352R1_LAUNCHXL_release_ccs

    I'm a bit surprised. I started from an empty workspace and imported the audiohal_echo example using CCS 10.1. I get two projects, audiohal_echo and tirtos_builds_cc13x2_cc26x2_release_ccs. If you don't get the latter, please post the .projspec file you changed.

    When I imported the audio project after I did the change posted above I had to go to Properties -> Build -> Dependencies and change the dependency to the tirtos project you have installed.

    It looks like the I2C drives has changed some so I had to comment out a line:

    const I2C_Config I2C_config[CC1352R1_LAUNCHXL_I2CCOUNT] = {
    {
    // .fxnTablePtr = &I2CCC26XX_fxnTable,
    .object = &i2cCC26xxObjects[CC1352R1_LAUNCHXL_I2C0],
    .hwAttrs = &i2cCC26xxHWAttrs[CC1352R1_LAUNCHXL_I2C0]
    },
    };

  • Hi,

    Oops, I missed your update.

    I will follow your update tomorrow and update my status.

    I appreciate your help.

    Best regards,

    Baeyoung

  • Hi,

    I am following your recommendations.

    I changed Dependencies form tirtos_builds_CC1352R1_LAUNCHXL_release_ccs to tirtos_builds_cc13x2_cc26x2_release_ccs_4_40_04_04.

    I found that I need to add some codes to tirtos due to dependencies change.

    Please don't close yet.

    I will update tomorrow.

    Best regards,

    Baeyoung
