CC1101: CC1101 cannot be connected

Part Number: CC1101

Hi ti team,

At present, my client encounters the problem that CC1101 cannot be connected, as follows

1. The performance of the undesirable phenomenon is: the assembled finished product cannot be connected, and the semi-finished product is connected normally. The preliminary judgment is that the signal strength is problematic.
2. Replace the bad PCB with a new CC1101 and reassemble it into a finished product. The CC1101 can be connected normally.
3. The bad IC is restored to the bad PCB, and then assembled into a finished product, the CC1101 cannot be connected

  • I would suspect two factors: - Output power - Frequency offset The output frequency and power should be measured on the semi-finished product and finished product to verify if a delta could be found on these two parameters. Start with conducted measurements since these are easiest to reproduce and the continue with radiated measurements.
