WL1835MOD: WL1835MOD FCC

Part Number: WL1835MOD

hi

I am using TI's WL1835MOD on my board with Tegra's K1 processor. Please find the photograph of the module. Since there is change in RF layout, I have to re-certify the wi-fi for intentional radiation.

TK1 runs a ubuntu and I was planning to use calibrator application to run the FCC tests, I read in this forum post that https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless_connectivity/wilink_wifi_bluetooth/f/307/t/552623, that calibrator cant be used for regulatory certification.

Can you please let us know, why calibrator cant be used for certification ? and on a linux environment what options do I have to put the DUT in continuous transmission mode for FCC testing.

Thank you
