WL1837MOD: About the test results of "WL18MODGI Module Certification Reports"

Hi experts,

My customer is currently using WL1837MOD to check if it complies with the Japanese Radio Law. However, there is a possibility that some of the data in the "WL18MODGI Module Certification Reports" is not enough, so please let me check.

1.Do you have the data for the following 8 measurement modes:

IEEE802.11b:CCK,PSK
IEEE802.11g:PSK,QAM
IEEE802.11n(HT20):PSK,QAM
IEEE802.11n(HT40):PSK,QAM

2.The "JAPAN RADIO TEST REPORT (JR020301A)" states that AFH (20ch) is available, but is there any measurement data for variable output?

3.The antenna gain is listed as 3.2dBi, but is there any evaluation result for the radiation angle width limitation?

4.Is there any reason why the latest version of "JAPAN RADIO TEST REPORT" is not included in the WL18MODGI Module Certification Reports (5.20.00.00)?

For example, in case of Buluetooth, v5.20.00.00 includes JR862610-01A (July 2, 2019). However, the document used to obtain the Japanese construction design certification is JR020301A (March 9, 2020).

Sorry, but I am not familiar with this content. Therefore, it would be helpful if you could point out to me if you do not understand the meaning of my question or if I'm missing some information that you need.

    Hi O.H.,

    1. We have what's in the datasheet. Not in the cert reports.
    2. I'm not sure if we do. What do you need this data for?
    3. We do not. Just the peak gain of the antenna used for certification, which was the W3006. You can try reaching out to Pulse for additional antenna characteristics.
    4. It looks like the new reports weren't added to the latest version on the TI certification page. We'll need to update this.

    Thank you for your answer.

    1. I checked the datasheet, but could not find any information other than "IEEE802.11b:CCK". Does this mean that there is no more information about PSK and QAM?
    2. All of the data I asked about is required to comply with the Japanese Radio Law.
    3. I understood. We will refer to the W3006 datasheet.

    1. The WL1837MOD is unable to use those modulation rates
    2. What do you mean by variable output exactly?
