WL1835MOD: About WL1837 and WL1835 's different reference design

Part Number: WL1835MOD
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: WL1837, WL1835

Hi, support team

My customer has the questions as follow:

I have a technical question about the WL1837 and WL1835.

I noticed that they have different reference design.

At RF_ANT1 port, WL1837 is connected to an external resistor while WL1835 is to a capacitor.

Is it due to different internal circuit?

If you measure that port by using a multimeter, what response should we get?

The reason for this is because we were using WL1837 before,

but we need to find an alternative and WL1835 seems to be the best candidate.

However, when our engineer was verifying the chip,

he found that the RF_ANT1 port on WL1835 is shorted to GND when measuring with a multimeter.

Whereas this is not the case with WL1837.

We kind of want to confirm whether this is expected or the WL1835 chip we got is broken.

Thanks so much.

Best regards,
Yuki
