CC3220SF: How to change Power Level in Tx CW mode? Or Cannot change.

Hi, Support Team,

Our product use CC3220SF SoC. SimpleLink-SDK version: simplelink_cc32xx_sdk_4_30_00_06. Use TI-RTOS.

Our test fixture:

My question:

I set Channel 1 at 2412 MHz and tone=0, Spectrum Analyzer Power about -45 ~ -55 dBm; set Channel 1 at 2412 MHz and tone=1, Spectrum Analyzer Power about 2~3 dBm. May I change Power Level in CW mode? or cannot change Power Level in TX CW mode?

Hi Lishen,

You are unable to vary the power level when transmitting a CW using Radio Tool. As you've observed, setting the Tone parameter to 0 will output a CW low in output power, so you must set it to to another number. Doing this with a LaunchPad and setting the Tone to 1, for example, you should measure 18~20dBm.

Are there exist relation settings table between tone value(-1~-25, 0, 1~25) and output Power Level(0~15) ?

Lishen,

No, there is not. You'll note that when you set the transmissin type to CW, you are unable to adjust the power level. Only the tone.
