CC3135MOD: Erase ServicePack from Serial Flash

Part Number: CC3135MOD
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SIMPLELINK-SDK-WIFI-PLUGIN, UNIFLASH, CC3135

Hi,

We are using the CC3135MOD module with STM32 with FreeRTOS. The module is interfaced through SPI.

We have programmed the service pack for CC3135 from the SIMPLELINK-SDK-WIFI-PLUGIN_4.20.00.10. The service pack was flashed using Uniflash. We would like to confirm if the service pack was correctly programmed into the module. Is there any way to retrieve any info regarding the version of service pack existing in it?

Also, how can we erase the existing service pack and flash another version of it?

Kindly let us know.

Thanks,

SN

  • Hi,

For information about ServicePack you can use API sl_DeviceGet() with options SL_DEVICE_GENERAL - SL_DEVICE_GENERAL_VERSION. See example at doxygen for host driver.

If you want to remove servicepack, you can program blank image by Uniflash software. Using Uniflash you can program any compatible service pack as you want. Using host SPI interface and command sl_FsProgram() you can program any compatible service pack too.
