CC3220SF: Is that possible to extend LSI value longer than 2 seconds?

Hi,

My customer is fully understand the risk if we extend LSI over 2 seconds. But they still would like to change it even pay to it.

So is that possible to change this maximum value?

    Hi,

    No, it is not possible. The 2 seconds limit was determined through extensive tests of more than 200 APs.

    We were looking to find the maximum value for which the AP would not disconnect the station since using an LSI is not really part of the spec but used only to improve power consumption.

    If we opened this parameter for higher values, most likely some APs would disconnect us on an inactivity timeout.
