Hi,

i am using SLImageCreator.exe from uniflash 7.1.0.3796. I want to change some settings for the project creation and documentation says:

project new --name NEW_PROJECT_NAME --cfg_json CFG_JSON_PATH, where do i find an example file for cfg.json to get rid of Config file (cfg.json) doesn't exist, using defaults.

But anyway i very interested in a n example file independet if this message "Config file (cfg.json) doesn't exist, using defaults" is a bug.

Hi Arnaud,

An example of the reconfiguration file can be found in the install directory:

<INSTALL_PATH>/uniflash_version/simplelink/imagecreator/examples

This configuration file can be modified and used in place of the default file if needed.

thank you but i don't need the reconfiguration file i need the config file. I think there are some differences.

Hi Arnaud,

The reconfiguration file I pointed to is an example of a configuration file that can be modified and used in place of the default configuration file. There should be no difference between the two types of files.

Can you explain in a bit more detail what you experienced as a "bug"?

Hi,

thank you for your answer i will use that file for my purpose. I have read some posts in this forum which said that "Config file (cfg.json) doesn't exist, using defaults" will always be output and i thought that this would be here also.

Is there a chance for a more detailed example for that file ?

As Vince mentions, you are able to configure the project once in the GUI and then use that project moving forward in your command line. In this case, the message should go away.
