CC3200: how to get started with microcontrollers for IoT from TI

I want to start with the programming of microcontrollers with Wifi Could you recommend me a flasher/debugger? , do you know what pins are used for programming? What software do you recommend I use? any book or pdf to start with TI microcontrollers for IoT? I want to propose the use of these microcontrollers in my work and I would like to know more about them before proposing them. Thanks

    My recommendation is to start with CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL or LAUNCHXL-CC3235SF. For development of code you can use IDE from TI - Code Composer Studio which is free. TI CC32xx LaunchPad contains debugger XDS-110 which can be used for development at that boards. Later you can use XDS-110 from your development board for debugging your hardware. Detail information you find at product pages for CC3220SF, CC3235 and SimpleLink Academy.

    I am an independent developer without any relationship with TI. I can say that TI WiFi devices CC32xx (CC3220, CC3230, CC3235) are very good devices. I use them for many years. If you want to use WiFi device at professional product, TI devices are right choice. But if you want to use "home project" maybe ESP32 can fit better for such usage. At present time there is one significant disadvantage of TI WiFi devices. For a small developer is hard to source CC32xx devices due to state at semiconductor market.

    I agree with Jan that the CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL or LAUNCHXL-CC3235SF launchpads are great places to start.
