Dear Ti expert，

Currently i am using CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL, I use TI Simple Link Wi-FI Starte (IOS) connect to CC3220SF, i think the iphone can connect the device, but i press "START CONFIGURATION" button, sending network congfiguration can finished, but searching for device display following FAIL, the picture as follow:

I do not how to deal with it?

Hi!,

I tested the provisioning demo (linked here https://dev.ti.com/tirex/content/simplelink_academy_cc32xxsdk_5_30_00_00/modules/wifi/wifi_provisioning/wifi_provisioning.html) and was able to successfully connect with AP provisioning (task 3) and with SmartConfig (task 4). I haven't been able to replicate your issue.

From your pictures, it looks like you are trying to connect with SmartConfig. In that case, you don't need to be connected to the "mysimplelink-66CF74" network and should instead be connected to your personal network that you are trying to pass to the device.

Can you confirm you are following the steps in the demo?

Try disconnecting the terminal application, re-flash the application and reconnect the terminal application and restart the device to run the application again.

Does J9 shorted? In my board no jumper

Today I tested according to the link you sent to me. but failed.

Task3,

Enter the Network Credentials, i can not find SimpleLinkApps in my router from the list

Depending on which board Rev. you have, J9 can serve different purposes, as shown below. Either way, it should be ok to have it open.

Instead of looking for SimpleLinkApps in the list of networks in the app, you should be looking for your network that you want to connect the CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL to. You should see your network in the list. If you don't you should also see a box at the bottom of the list where you can type in the name of the network and its security key (if secure).

first step in my iphone setting, select mysimplelink-66CF74

2.reset the CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL

3.open the SimpleLink Wi-FI Starter Pro App

4.Where do I need to find WiFi network name,

5. in the devices page, i push the device button, the following pciture

6. i input the "mysimplelink" and password, and then OK

7. press "START CONFIGUATION" button, the failure information as follow:

Can u give me some advice?

Hi,

[Provisioning] Profile Added: SSID: mysimplelink --> It looks like you are trying to connect to a network (mysimplelink) that doesn't exist. You need to input the credentials of a network that you are near.

Your steps 1-3 are correct. The CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL is in AP mode and you have connected to the it with your phone and are ready to send it the credentials for a different network for it to connect to.

What you need to do now choose on of the networks in your drop-down list (for example: i-tbox411588, THLB, wifi, jiankonhnanlou, etc.).
