wl18xx: WPA3 support in a mainline Linux

Hi,

the latest wl18xx release R8.8 was made for the 4.19.x kernel. Meanwhile, we are targeting 5.18.x. Is a new release planned?

Accoring to the changelog [1], there are a lot of patches needed to get WPA3 and MESH running. Some patches are already upstream and one [2] was first applied and then reverted. You can find the related discussion here [3]. I am still encountering this issue if I apply the patch to 5.17 kernel.

As the kernel driver for wlcore is still orphaned, could you take a look at this issue and help to upstream both MESH and WPA3 support? I am mostly interested in WPA3 support.
