WL1801MOD: Poor signal. How can I increase the transmission power from the software?

Hi TI!

Our company has developed a product based on AM43xxx linux. We have WIFI connectivity with WL18xx.

Our problem is that the wifi signal is poor.

What options do we have to increase the transmission power of the WL18xx?

Typical tx power values are defined in the datasheet : https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/wl1805mod.pdf

Please make sure all design guidelines etc. are followed.

So there is no way to set the transmission power?
I've read in old tickets that there is an INI file that can be useful, but there are no details in the tickets.

Hi,

INI defines the RF parameters of the module , including Tx power. Module has integrated PA and you can't get substantially more tx power than already defined in the datasheet. Hope that clarifies.
