I am searching for a WiFi/Bluetooth combination module that can be used in medical devices (complying with the mandatory regulations and standards) of the following regions/countries:

Europe
China
Japan
USA
South Korea
Taiwan
Kuwait
Argentina
Australia (optiona)

I would be happy if TI has a suitable module that complies with the above list.

Hey Benjamin,

I would take a look at the CC3235MOD for this. You can find the relevant certification info in section 9.13. Unfortunately, a few of those countries aren't supported.

Hi Dylan,

CC3235MOD does not support Bluetooth.

Thanks Dylan for your answer, but like Jan D already responded, the module sadly doesn't support Bluetooth.

I already tried to focus the search on complete modules like the ESP32 platform or products from Telit and Laird Connectivity.

Hey Benjamin,

My apologies, the CC3235MOD would provide the closest to an all in one solution similar to the other platforms you mentioned though it only supports WIFI. We do have wireless transceiver modules that can support WIFI and BT like the WL1835MOD, but this would require and accompanying host MPU for the user application and TCP/IP processing.
