CC3235MODAS: Certification

Part Number: CC3235MODAS

Hi team,

At first, let me confirm about a basic use case, just in case. The device is able to cover Wi-Fi 4 and prior generations, is that correct?

The main question: Does the CC3235MODA have certification for each country and which countries can this module cover?

Thanks in advance.

  • Hi Sawamoto,

I have assigned this post to one of HW apps experts, please give them a day to respond.

  • Hello,

To answer your first question - yes the CC3235MODAS supports 802.11n (Wi-Fi 4) and is backwards compatible with previous versions (802.11a/b/g).

To answer your main question - There are many different certifications which the CC3235MODA holds, some of which international and some by country. The device is certified for FCC (USA), IC/ISED (Canada), ETSI/CE (Europe), MIC (Japan), SRRC (China). Moreover, the CC3235MODA is also Wi-Fi certified. The different certifications and their specifications and official statements are listed in detail on the datasheet CC3235MODx Datasheet, in the "Device Certification and Qualification" section.

If you want the full certificate report, you can go to the following page and request access: CC3XXX Certification Reports

    Hope this helps,

    Jonathan
