CC3235SF: CCS Buildfile generation error occurred

CCS was working great until I did a SW update. Now I get this error message when I build:

Buildfile generation error occurred..
Product com.ti.SIMPLELINK_CC32XX_SDK v3.40.0.05 is not currently installed and no compatible version is available. Please install this product or a compatible version.
Build stopped..

How do I install the specified SDK?

Any hints would be appreciated.

do you have the sdk (3.40) installed?

can you port to a more recent SDK?

I don't know how to answer your questions.
I uninstalled everything and reinstalled what was working before. I'll avoid updating this time!

Basically every CC32XX was verified against a CCS version from the same time frame.

Basically, the CCS is supposed to be backward compatible, but the SDK that you use is 3 years old so i guess there can be some issues.

If you don't want to port to a newer wi-fi SDK (6.10 is the latest) - then your approach would be the easiest.
