Other Parts Discussed in Thread: WL1801
I am bricking WL1801 modules.
They do not respond to sdio initialization, so the linux driver does not load.
Is there a way to recover these?

Hi , Did these module samples work initially ? Please consult section 3.2 for power up sequence : https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru437b/swru437b.pdf
Thanks
Yes, these modules tend to function properly.
I am meeting the power up and power down sequences.
An estimate of 1% of modules are dropping out and have to be replaced.
The ability to reproduce the problem is difficult.
I did set up a power cycler to pull power at times between 0 and 3.5 seconds in 7ms increments.
1st pulse width = 0, 2nd pulse width - 7ms, ,,, last pulse width = 3.5s.
The 1st sdio interaction takes place between 3.5 and 3.7 seconds from power on.
This test was repeated approx. 800 times over the weekend, and somewhere in there the module bricked.
I am running further tests to try to isolate it better.
In the mean time, are these modules recoverable?
Thanks.
Can't really comment on it with certainty without knowing what's wrong with them. Incorrect power up/down sequence can potentially damage the ICs.
