Hi,
Please tell me if the module TI EZ430-RF2500-SEH is supporting WLAN (802.11b/g/n)? If not, please help me with another similar module for Wi-Fi
(preferably with solar Harvesting).

Murali

Murali,
The ez430-RF2500 is based on the CC2500 radio, which does not support 802.11. The WL127x and WL128x devices, however, do. Here's a chart that summarizes the various radios and protocols: http://focus.ti.com/pdfs/wtbu/SWMT021.pdf. You might find the TiWi module to be of interest: http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/wl1271-tiwi.html.
Hi,
Thanks for your reply. That was helpful in identifying some more TI modules. In fact I was looking for a WiFi based wireless sensor network module from TI, that can also support Solar Harvesting. Also I'm afraid since, WL12xx modules are not low power and hence may not be meant for sensor network applications. May I know your opinion?

Mulari,
I've moved this post to the WLAN forum, so the experts on WLAN can comment.
If you're looking for a wireless solution (not necessarily WiFi), you might find the wireless connectivity guide (http://www.ti.com/lit/slab056) useful.
