Hello Community,

I am using mqtt_client_CC3220SF example from SDK simplelink_cc32xx_sdk_6_10_00_05 to understand how OTA is working.

I enabled CLOUD_OTA_SUPPORT in ota_setting.h and have compiled the project in CCS and flashed it in debug mode. The userFiles folder contains the certificate files ("digicert_high_assurance_ca.der" and "RootCACerts.pem") for dropbox and github. I checked if the certificates are valid as well.

What should be done to avoid this error ?

Did you use CCS or uniflash to program the device (with the certificates)?

-456 means that the certificates can't be found or can't be parsed. In this case where you are using the certificates from the example - it seems that the certificates are not programmed to the (root of the) CC3220 file system.

Hello Kobi,

Ok, I understand, I was doing it with CCS and certificates were not in chip, hence it couldn't find the certificates.

But now I am trying to flash using UNIFLASH with steps mentioned in CC3x20 SimpleLink Wi-Fi® and Internet of Things Over-the-Air Update

I am importing the mqtt_client_cc3220sf_launchxl_tirtos_ccs project and enabling OTA cloud update and using certificates mentioned in the above document to flash.
