Hi Team,

My customer is currently evaluating the CC3135 board. They were able to see the device details through the “SimpleLink Wi-Fi Starter Pro Mobile application”. But, they were not able to see the console logs in tera-term tool. Below are the ports added into my PC after connection.

Currently they are setting the Baud rate “115200” as mentioned in the document and they also tried different baud rates too but no use. Could you check is there any additional Jumper or diff baud rate settings are recommended but it is not mentioned in the document?

Hi,

You mentioned here that you use the CC3135 boosterpack (and this is also aligned with the device manager capture).

But what MCU host platform are you using?

The CC3135 is a NWP and requires an external processor (like an MSP).

The four ports are from the EMUBOOST that connects to the CC3135 boosterpack and expose the GPIO lines and NWP logger lines.

Thanks for your quick response! Customer is only using CC31XXEMUBOOST and BOOSTXL-CC3135 for their evaluation.

Hi,

As I mentioned, they need an external processor to run their application code.

If they want a single SoC that is capable of running the application code, they can use the CC32xx launchpad devices (and then they don't need the EMUBOOST at all).
