Hi everyone,

i am facing HTTPS connection error -34D, CC3100 wifi chip running on simplelink and TIRTOS, with cc3100 sdk v 1.2.0, handshake failure just after Client hello, not receiving server hello, can anyone suggest me whats wrong ?

Hi chiranth,

Do you mean error -340 (SL_ESEC_HANDSHAKE_FAILURE)? At first step you should update service pack inside your CC3100. Next step will be capture SSL handshake using network sniffer (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.) if SP update does not help.

hi Jan D,

here i am connecting to in house server its working , and next i am connecting to other server and i have respective root ca certificate also during connection this server i am getting this error, hope it will fix if i ugoprade the service pack

Ok. If it is not working please provide the sniffer log (e.g. wireshark) as Jan mentioned.

the NWP log (see link to instructions below) can also be use but sniffer log is better.

updating Service pack on CC3100MODR1 Chip resolved my issue, Thanks for your support.
