CC3100: New TLS ciphers support

Hi TI,

Cipher suits supported by the CC3100 is now considered weak. Can you, please, tell me are there any plans to release new service pack with newer/stronger cipher suits?

Hi,

The short answer is no, for new TLS suites we would generally upgrade the newer devices if possible (CC3120, CC3135).

Are you already using CC3100 or are you looking for a device to use?

I see, there are some cipher suites that were added in patches a while ago but there are no plans to add more.

Which suites are you looking for?

Well, I am up-to-date with SDK (1.3.0) and SP (1.0.1.15-2.14.0.0). As for the "wish" list, TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 would be great to have.

Hi,

In this case, it is not something that was planned to add. I am not sure that GCM is even supported currently on the later generations (CC3120 and CC3135) but I need to check it.
