I have an AM3358 processor, and a WiLink 8 (WL1807) wifi module. I checked online that the WL1807 indeed supports the IEEE 802.11s (mesh network) protocol, but no where in the documentation of the WL1807 (and WL1837) has it been mentioned that it supports the IEEE 802.11s protocol.
Also, on TI's website there is a demonstration of using an AM335X processor with WiLink 8 module in a mesh setup.
Wifi firmware version - wl18xx-fw-8.9.1.0.0-r0
Linux Kernel Version - 5.15.79-lmp-standard
Video of the WiFi Mesh demonstration - https://www.ti.com/video/5548399687001
Please assist me with what I need to do for setting up the same.
Thanks
Hello Samarth,
The documentation for Wilink8 mesh is here: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/swaa166/swaa166.pdf
This document has all the information pertaining to this protocol.

Hi Jonathan,
I am unable to access the Linux Getting To Started link (http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/WiLink8_Linux_Getting_Started_Guide).

Samarth
Hi Samarth,
These Wiki documents are outdated, the new documentation is sourced directly from the sdk you are using. I don't know which AM335x sdk you are using, but they all have a docs folder and from there you can get to the Linux Getting started guide. For example: https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM335X/08_02_00_24/exports/docs/linux/Overview.html
This is the link to the sdk user's guide documentation for the latest sdk: 08.02.00.24

Jonathan
