In the lab for testing. Please help on several questions:
- Is there a way to set CE or FCC power? when I experiment PLT mode command with the TI module on our hand, it seems power setting at 16 is the same as 20. seems to me it means the power cap at maybe CE power. how can I go above that?
2. May I have insight on gain_calculation_mode? it is in the TX_power command from SWRU562. is this the way to solve my question 1?
3. Which country / what testing were the limit in the data sheet (attached), page 12 as below, came from? For example channel 1/11 is 12dBm. But the CE report is 16dBm / FCC report is 18dBm, all much more than that. Is these limits built into certain file (power limit setting) and is it in our TI module FW released to end customer?
Channels 1, 11 at OFDM legacy and HT 20-MHz rates: 12 dBm
• Channels 1, 11 at HT 40-MHz rates: 10 dBm
• Channel 7 at HT 40-MHz lower rates: 10 dBm
