Hello,

I have some questions regarding to CC3235MODASF:

1. Whether it support Wifi5 or Wifi6?

2. If not, is it possible for this Wifi module to support Wifi5 or Wifi6 through SW upgrade? Whether TI already have this plan?

3. If it can not support or upgrade to support Wifi5 or Wifi6, whether it is compatible to communicate with a router that with Wifi5 or Wifi6 feature?

CC3235 doesn't support WIFI5/6 (CC3301 supports WIFI6).

An AP (Router) with WIFI5/6 support will respect WIFI4 devices (such as CC3235).

Thanks for the reply.

Could you give more details about why CC3235 doesn't support WiFi5/6, is it due to there have some limitation on the transceiver, or the processore can not handle the data stream?

it is about the transceiver.

CC3235SF was designed a couple of years back. It supports up to WiFi4 (802.11n).
