CC3235S: Timeout for AP on CC3235S, using sl_WlanProvisioning.

Hi All

Device CC3235S, working as AP, I can see it is limited by time , InactivityTimeoutSec, my question is : What maximum time for this param ?

I have tested for 600 s , (10 min ), I am not successful to increase this timeout .

I can't find any documentation or any limitations in the code for the maximum value (the minimum is 30 sec).

From what I recall 10 minutes is the default and the data structures (uint16_t for the Second configuration, then converted uint32_t (as milliseconds) before activating the timer) should hold higher value. However there may be something i missed.

Why do you need more than 10 minutes? I don't know what is the application but AP mode consumes relatively high power and 10 minutes is more than enough to complete the provisioning (AP mode itself can work regardless of any nwp timer).

Many thanks your answer , I need to keep the device always in AP mode , probably I am wrong. If we need a device acting as an access point to which 4 stations (maximum ) can be connected , disconnect and connect without limitation on time.. When connected they can exchange data using the http server on device.

Hi,

Why you need to use sl_WlanProvisioning() API to stay device inside AP mode? Why you not set AP mode using API sl_WlanSetMode(ROLE_AP)?

I am using that instruction in conjunction with http server , I can keep the device with ROLE_AP.
