Dear all

I want to download certificates to my CC3235S launchpad

/sys/cert/ca.der - CA for the server authentication
/sys/cert/client.der - Optional, if server requests client authentication
/sys/cert/private.key - Optional, if server requests client authentication

First I uploaded an image in simple mode (station, no MCU Img, latest service pack). That worked fine.

Then I went to Advanced to upload certificates.

Whenever I want to write a file I get an exception.

Do I make a mistake?

By the way, I get the same error, trying to download an empty text file. I guess, the ca.der is not the issue here...

Download a file does not work either. Is that an issue with access rights?

Hi Christian,

You cannot add files in the Device File Browser View. Please (1) disconnect from the device, (2) switch to user file view and add files there, (3) and then reconnect and program the device.

CC3235 has security features where you cannot modify files on the device itself. Instead, you need to re-flash it with a new file system each time you want to make changes.

Hi Felicity

That worked. I'm very greatful for that help. A call to the UniFlash people could be made... It is very tempting to believe, that what I tried, actually should work. Maybe if UniFlash didn't let me edit the file structure, that I would not be able to upload later on, that would have helped me (a bit at least). Can you pass that to the UniFlash developers?
