Hello,
I have a question regarding CC3235X. How can we take discussion offline?
Thanks.

Hello,

Hi Rahul, Please first ask your question here.
Hello JAN / Sabeeh,
I have two questions:
1. I see that CC3235 is not a concurrent dual-band device. Does it mean that transmission / reception on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz happens at the same?
So based on this assumption, can we use SOP0 and SOP1 GPIO to control TX RX path on 2.4Ghz band? Please see attached block diagram and let me know if this is feasible.
2. Is there range estimator tool for CC3235? Below tool does not have CC3235s option.

Thanks.
Hi Rahul,
I feel this configuration is a little overcomplicated and likely will not work. What exactly are you trying to achieve here? The benefit of this device is that most of the RF circuitry is integrated and this implementation defeats that purpose. I may be able to suggest an alternative device that may be more suitable.
Hello Dylan,
I want to achieve a communication range of more than 1Km with high data rate of 10Mbps. One way to do it is to amplify output power and amplify received signal. If you could, please recommend a TI device to which we can interface external RF FEM. Frequency should be 2.4, 5Ghz or 868Mhz.
Thanks.
Hey Rahul,
I will reassign this thread to another team that supports RF devices that are more suited for a discrete approach.
Hi Rahul,
I am not sure I am clear on what the question is after readying this post. Can you please explain?
Thanks,
Rob
