Other Parts Discussed in Thread: WL1837, , WL1835
Hi,
I'm asking this as a related question to the post titled "WL1837MOD: Dual band antenna specification for WL1835/WL1837"
The WL1837 module certifications reference chip antenna W3006, however the latest specification has different gain values than listed in the certifications. I am pasting original poster Ronak Parmar's question- the thread was marked as resolved though no answer was given.
--------------------------------
As per the mentioned list of approved antenna in the datasheet of WL1837, antenna gain with pulse W3006 is below:
Frequency band (GHz) | Peak gain (dBi) | |
TI-WL1837 (Dual band) | WL1835 (Signle band) | |
2.4 | 3.2 | 3.2 |
5 | 4.2 | NA |
But as per the datasheet W3006 Pulse antenna it is 2.2dBi for 2.4GHz and 5.2 dBi for 5GHz.
Why this conflict ?
--------------------------------
We are submitting an application for compliance with China SRRC and need to provide this info. I am concerned there will be an issue if these values do not match the module certification.
Any help is appreciated!
