Hi ,

In p2p connection when mobile client (wifi ) is disabled, WIFI driver is taking more time to provide client deauthorized state (peer disconnected message).

How to reduce this time to detect the client shutdown ? is there way to control p2p keep alive timeout

If I understand correctly, you would like to disconnect faster? Can you provide an example or possibly a log of the events?

What firmware version of the WL18xx and the linux kernel version are you using?

Hi Sabeeh,

Yes we like to disconnect faster, StaDeauthorized event is coming late. our application is waiting for StaDeauthorized event to indicate the client went off.

Chanel frequency of the wifi direct: 2437

kernel: 5.4.102

Wi-Fi firmware used: 8.9.0.0.90

Hi Viswa,

Could you provide us an estimate time of how long the disconnection event occurs? Because you reach deauth event, I'm not sure if there is a problem.
If you have wireshark logs that would be helpful to fully understand the issue.
