CC3220SF: Measure signal to noise ratio of the antenna

Dear Team,

I have a CC3220SF that is not connected to the network. Is it possible via software to measure the Signal to noise ratio of the antenna without connecting to a network ?

Hi,

You could use test equipment like a spectrum analyzer to do this. The radio tool GUI would give an easy method to set up transmissions. The environment would need to be applicable to get realistic noise.

Hi,

Thank you for the answer. Is there no self - loop mechanism so that it could be done via software ? I am trying to avoid the use of external hardware and/or test equipment!

Unfortunately, there is no feature like this available for the device. For our learning, is this for a production line test or utilized for another application?
