Hi
where can i find additional information about WL1281 - WL1283 ? ( such as datasheet,user guide,application note,...)
And where can I get WL1281/3 Linux SDK?

Maksim,
The WL128x devices are targeted at a few high volume vertical customers using the OMAP Processors.
Due to this, We have not published the technical collateral nor are the drivers available as part of any of the DSPS SDKs today.

Hi Adnan,
What are the TI's plans to release any SDK's etc. resources for developers in the near future for the WiLink 6 and 7? I'm mostly interested for the Ant and BTLE parts?
Thanks
Hi,
As mentioned earlier, Wilink 7 (WL1283) is not broadly available at this time.
However, Wilink 6 is broadly availabe for several DSPS Processor platforms. You can find details on the following link: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/ARM_Processor_Open_Source_Wireless_Connectivity
We have plans in place to enable ANT and BLE on these platform but don't have firm schedules to share at this time.
Please stay tuned to the Wiki above for update on our plans.

Adnan,
I really need to develop with your WL1283. I am sure that eventualy you will release them into the open market and as such I would like to have a leg up by having app notes and engineering documentation as well as a few packaged and unpackaged samples.
By the way I am on my own now, I am no longer working for Harris Corp.
Thanks,
Bill Spamfilter.
Bill,
Unfortunately, we don't have any plans at this time to support WL1283 with any of our broadly available MPU Platforms.
I would like to better understand your requeriments to understand if there is another TI connectivity product that might be a better fit with your requirements.
Can you please share your connectiivty requirements/use case as well as the host processor platform that you are planning to use?

Hi Imman,
For the WLAN core - SDIO
For BT/GPS/FM cores - UART or SPI works over "Shared UART" which means that GPS/FM commands are wrapped in HCI layout with a special "channel number"
Thanks,
- Elad.
Hi Imman,
Just got information from TI FAEs teams. For BT/GPS/FM only UART is working
- Elad.
WL1271L based Type-TN Module from Murata has HW support for BLE: http://www.ti.com/product/wl1271-typetn
BLE SW is not yet supported but is a Roadmap feature for AM335x Linux SDK Releases (Schedule is gated by BLE Support on BlueZ Linux Open source stack used on this Platform)

Hi Ge Li,
I don't have such a non-operational sample application as you requested.
Neither I don't have any TI public "HCI commands over shared UART" i can share with.
But I can describes the general idea for wl1283. When BT_EN is toggled. The SW package should download the BTS file (configuration and patch file). When the download complete. Sending HCI command with channel 8.
The FM commands are very simple and divided to RX commands and TX commands, such as Tune, recieve RDSm etc, etc...
