Need some info here on the below and thanks in advance for your responses

As per CANADA country rules we are not supposed to operate Wi-Fi module at 5.0GHz on outdoor equipment’s and with regards to this

Do we have the support or option to operate WL1807MODGIMOCT only on 2.4GHz(both Access point and station)?

On Radio is it possible to disable the 5.0GHz permanently.

Does this requires to change any drivers or Radio software

Hi,

I am not sure why you say that in Canada you are not allowed to transmit in 5GHz as the regulatory allows it but there are few ways (you can choose one or combine but please test):

regardless of AP or station, you can use wlconf utility to set the number of antennas for 5GHz to 0. The parameter can be found on the INI https://www.ti.com/lit/an/swru422a/swru422a.pdf?ts=1694583191386&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252F
for AP role, you can use hostapd.conf file and set hw_mode=g only (for 5GHz you add the 'a', for example, hw_mode=a)
for station role, there is no explicit setting of 11a as for the AP role but you can use the freq_list parameter to allow only 2.4GHz frequencies for scanning
