LAUNCHCC3235MOD: SimpleLink reconnects after about 16 minutes, causes and avoiding

Assuming the problem could be SimpleLink configuration, what values might after loss and reacquiring after approximately. 16 minutes of inactivity? I am testing some data logging tat works atwo and five minute response messge times, but when I went for for about 39 minutes , it loses connection about 16 minutes in. What is SL_STOP_TIMEOUT? Would a fixed address help? Connection is dhcp client.

This may be my fault as I had a buffer overrun that would take a while to cause trouble and later, when trying to verify the data being stored, I used an unaccepted printf/snprintf format specifier in Display_printf.The connection seems fairly reliable now and recovers if dropped.
