BOOSTXL-CC3135: CC3135 can not connect uniflash

I have a BOOSTXL-CC3135, trying to connect it with uniflash, I don't have CC31XXEMUBOOST, but I have generic FTDI board, the uniflash can detect it as XDS100 v2, according to the schmatic of CC31XXEMUBOOST and info from https://www.ti.com/lit/an/swra647a/swra647a.pdf?ts=1712827053607, I connect the FTDI board to CC3135 with (RX--TX, TX--RX, TDI--HiB, TCK--nRESET), but uniflash can not detect it

Greetings,

You can select the board manually and start image creator as your image shows. Do any errors pop up will doing so?

Also do you have the GND pin connected between the FTDI board and CC3135?

Hi,

I am not 100% sure, but I think your FT2232 need to be programmed by FT-PROG to work properly with Uniflash.

I have bought a CC31xxEMUBOOST to save myself trouble, but this even can not recognized by uniflash, do you know where is wrong?

Just Found out I can use XDS110 to connect it

Great, let us know how that turns out.

I would also recommend that you verify the necessary drivers are installed for your computer.

If needed you can check here on how to install the XDS drivers - https://software- dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/xdsdebugprobes/emu_xds_software_package_download.html

You may also install CCS (www.ti.com/.../CCSTUDIO) and the drivers should be installed automatically.

On another note, I recommend you also refer to section 3 of the "CC3135 SimpleLink Wi-Fi® BoosterPack Plug-in Module Hardware User’s Guide" (https://www.ti.com/lit/swau106)
