CC3301: lost disconnect event.

When the AP connected by CC3301 shuts down, CC3301 FW can't report connection disconnect event everytime,
Occasionally it can report this event, but most of the time it cannot

When it report disconnect event, the wifi driver will print:
[WLAN EVENT] Device disconnected from the AP

CC3301SDK I used is cc33xx_thickmac_package_0_4_0_1.exe

I was not able to reproduce. I'm getting the disconnection event every time.

are you sending data on the connection when the AP gets shut down? I was testing this with an idle connection.

I was testing with the FW of the latest plugin (0.7).

If I use My phone for AP, I can get the disconnection event every time when I close my AP. But for other wifi router, when I power off it, I can't get the disconnection event every time. when I did this test, I didn't send any data on the connection.

the fw I used comes from cc33xx_thickmac_package_0_4_0_1.exe, can you send me the latest fw for testing?

the wifi driver in cc33xx-mcu-plugin-0.7.zip is very different from the driver in cc33xx_thickmac_package_0_4_0_1.exe,

I saw the code of wpa_supplicant is included in cc33xx-mcu-plugin-0.7.zip, Is there any improvement in this version compared to the previous one?

should I upgrade my wifi driver?

The supplicant is not used by the 0.7 driver.

The driver is mostly the same with some bug fixes.

Updating the driver is required for using the latest FW.

The update is recommended as the new version will be closer to the (future) official one and it will enable us to support issue like this.

Will the supplicant be used in next offical version?

the supplicant is the wi-fi connection manager (responsible connection to access point).

It will be used by future updates - not relevant for the current architecture of cc33xx (where it is implemented in the cc33xx firmware).

The next official drop is expected next month.
