CC3301: Inquiry About Latest CC3301 Driver Package for RTOS

Part Number: CC3301

Dear Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am currently working on porting the CC3301 driver to an RTOS and would like to inquire about the location of the latest driver package. Previously, I downloaded a software package named cc33xx-mcu-plugin-0.5, which included the following note:

Please note that the versioning scheme was changed and from now contains 4 parts. The previous release was R1.3.

I am unsure where to obtain the latest version of the driver package. Could you please provide me with information or a link to download it?

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,

Aaron

  • Hello Aaron,

The RTOS SDK for the cc3301 has not been officially released, however, you can request access to the latest pre release package.

You will need to press this request button.

  • Hi Rogelio,

Thank you very much for your prompt and detailed response.

I have two additional questions that I would like to clarify:

    1. CC33XX MCU Plugin: I had previously downloaded a software package named cc33xx-mcu-plugin-0.5.zip, but I have since forgotten the source from which I downloaded it. Are you familiar with this package? Could you provide information on where I can download it again?

    2. Using CC2652 as a Host for CC3301: We are considering using the CC2652 as a host to drive WiFi functionality. Is this feasible with the current setup and available drivers? Any insights or recommendations regarding this configuration would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you once again for your assistance.

    Best regards,

    Aaron
