Hi TI!

1-) Is an external crystal of 40MHz, Cl: 8pF and Rs: 35ohm acceptable?

2-) Is the connection shown in the attached image to control SOPx from a HOST MCU correct?

3-)

What is the minimum interface required between the MCU host and the CC3135?

I have on my interface:
UART_TX
UART_RX
UART_CTS
UART_RTS
nHIB
IRQ
WAKEUP
RST
SOP0
SOP1
SOP2
CC1335_COEX_SW_OUT

Am I missing a signal? Can I remove any from my interface?

Hi,

1) The FastClock Crystal we recommend to use are the Epson : Q24FA20H00396, TXC : 8Z40000055 or 8Y40072002. Other wise please refer to section "8.17.5.4 Fast Clock (Fref) Using an External Oscillator" of the datasheet (Lit# SWAS037) to understand what important parameters you should take into account. It is also important to calculate the appropriate Load capacitors depending on your design and chosen XTAL, you may refer to CC31xx and CC32xx Frequency Tuning App Note (Lit # SWRA680).
