The ServicePack binary is the set of patches on top of the ROM code so it is important to have it programmed. Since you refer to a module, a ServicePack should be programmed. As for which exact version, it depends on the latest SP at the time it was manufactured.

I am not sure if I can explain well due to my limited understanding, but I will tell you the first question.

However, the software designer reported that the SSID was displayed without writing FW to new module.

Can the CC3135MOD at the time of purchase display the SSID like an evaluation board?

Or will the SSID be displayed when the BIN file is written?

When you say display, what do you mean? display where? on the box?

"Display" means that the AP is recognized by a PC or tablet.

Since this is CC3135, it requires an external processor to run the application code. Do you have it?

Again, there is no relation between the binary ServicePack and the SSID. ServicePack is just a collection of patches to fix bugs in ROM.

　⇒ MCU is mounted on the board as a host and communicates with CC3135MOD using SPI.

In general, is it correct to assume that simply supplying power to the CC3135MOD will not cause the SSID to be displayed?

(Assuming CC3135MOD is purchased in the market.)
