Hi,
I found an old thread where someone (Otto Blom) was working on adding support for Wifi and BT (WL1835MOD) on an i.mx6 SabreSD-like board running Linux 3.10.17. We are in the same situation, and due to some custom modifications, we can not update to a newer version of Linux.
In a reply from Sundeep Javvaji, he supplied a link to the patch file below which would be useful to have, however the link no longer exists:
http://gforge.ti.com/gf/download/docmanfileversion/450/7383/imx-patch-wifi-bt-v1.10.tar.gz
My question is if any user may have this patch (imx-patch-wifi-bt-v1.10.tar.gz or any version - doesn't have to be v1.10) and they wouldn't mind sharing it. I already checked with TI and they don't have it.
Thanks!
Hi Earl,
I believe the post you were referring to is this?
https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/wi-fi-group/wifi/f/wi-fi-forum/403758/wilink-support-for-freescale-imx6-yocto-based-linux-3-10-17
I don't have access to these patches either, and we no longer support kernel 3.10. I would highly recommend moving your custom modifications to a newer kernel.
