CC3351: difference radio test tool and calibrator tool

Part Number: CC3351

Tool/software:

Hello TI Team,

What is the difference between the radio test tool and calibrator tool?

For the calibrator tool we used to use the https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru602/swru602.pdf which I am not able to access anymore.

In the calibrator tool are we able to adjust all modes of the device right?

Is it also possible to calibrate the quarz with the tool?

Thank You!

FM

  • Hi FM,

These tools are effectively the same when it comes to functionality. Radio Tool is GUI based and is a standalone program - Calibrator tool is located in the our Linux SDK. You can now find the guide located in the Linux Guide in the install directory of the SDK.

These tools let you exercise the radio and observe frequency accuracy which will then allow you to tune the load caps.
